Manager of Apocalyptica related to our web-site, that Apocalyptica have never been acquainted with "Piligrim" creation heretofore, so they have made their choice resting only on their relating to the song suggested for collaboration. Apocalyptica really liked the track suggested by "Piligrim", so they agreed to make the song arrangement and to take part in video clip shooting in Moscow. Apocalyptica wins at Metal Hammer awards 2008

Apocalyptica has been nominated for the Best Breakthrough Act 2008 and got their first Golden Gods now.

Apocalyptica and Cristina Scabbia from Lacuna Coil performed their song at this years Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards at Indigo O2 on 16th June.

Also Apocalyptica performed the epic ballad "SOS (Anything But Love)" together with Cristina at this years' Download Festival on Sunday 15th June.

Cristina comments: "Last time I performed at the Metal Hammer Award: 1) I won an award, and that was AWESOME 2) I was sick, very sick, and that was a LITTLE LESS awesome, but STILL great because LACUNA COIL performed that night as well ... and I saw you guys being there with us, hearts and souls. This year I'll be there without the Lacuna boys, but with my other buddies of Apocalyptica. When we perform 'SOS (Anything but love)' I expect you all to sing it with me!!! And after, we all will party together, that's for sure!"

Apocalyptica cheered up Russian concert promotion team with Finnish humour

First alternative tv channel A-ONE has begun the organizations for Apocalyptica concert in Moscow. The concert will take part in B1 Maximum on 26th of February. In the exclusive interview that Apocalyptica gave to A-ONE, the musicians said that Moscow will see the best of the best of Apocalyptica. The promotion team is sure that hospitality is very important in this matter and that's why all musician's requirements are carefully fulfilled, even though the stars have put some humour in the requirements.

It's not the first time when Apocalyptica arrives to Russia, that's why, the musicians know very well how to put themselves together after Russian audience: pizza in huge quantities, beer, energizing drinks, vegetarian food with lots of vegetables. Except this, fresh fruits in dressing rooms, meat (Finnish meat companies ONLY!!!) soups and lots of juices. Because of some allergy that some members of the band have on nuts, all food with nuts was excluded from the menu.

Also there were some issues which amazed the promotion team. The stars asked for 2 greeting cards with Moscow views to be sent to Finalnd, and they chosen to spend their free time with Moscow's most beautiful girl. The promotion team has already begun the search on Tytti Iso-Hookana-Asunmaa ("beautiful girl" in Finnish).

Apocalyptica will present in Moscow their 6th studio album called "Worlds Collide". For this album they worked with such famous musicians like: Corey Taylor (Slipknot), Dave Lombardo (Slayer), Till Lindermann (Rammstein) which sings the cover for David Bowie's song "Heroes". Also Apocalyptica colaborated with Cristina Scabbia (Lacuna Coil), Adam Gontier (Three Days Grace), japanese composer Tomoyasu Hotei. The producer of the album is Jacob Hellner, which works with Apocalyptica's friends and fans - Rammstein.
